With SAP TM, SAP has established an independent transport management system that is able to cover the complete transport processes from order entry, planning and executing through to the freight costs calculation and invoicing. With its modularity and scalability, the transport management system SAP TM is designed to meet the requirements for both carriers and shippers. Within SAP TM, special focus was made on the collaborative scenarios in transport management. SAP TM can communication with different partners within a network and can react to changes and disruptions in the Supply Chain.
