Since the inconsoWMS Automotive solution is based on the proven WMS system inconsoWMS eXtended, it offers all the functions that a warehouse management system needs to offer its users and more. In addition, supplier specific functions are available for the processing and control of sequenced assembly or the shift calendar based route planning.
The multi-client capability, meaning the operation for different suppliers or OEMs, is also important for the logistics service provider in the automotive industry. In the existing projects, up to 250 suppliers for a factory are managed (JIT / JIS / Sequencing), and connected to via EDI. Standard processes according to VDA or EDIFACT are already integrated into the standard system and formats such as ODETTE or ANSI X12 are supported.
