Collection and Processing of Data

Whenever you access our website or call up a file on the website, this information is logged. This data is stored for internal, system-related and statistical purposes. 

The following data is logged:

  • Name of the file called up,
  • date and time of the call-up,
  • transferred data quantity,
  • notification of successful call-up,
  • operating system used, 
  • browser and browser type,
  • the Internet page that was redirected from,
  • the Internet service provider, 
  • visited pages and 
  • requesting domain.

In addition, the IP addresses of the computers sending queries are logged. However, the person responsible does not draw any conclusions about a person. 

These data are only needed to display the contents of our website correctly, continuously optimize its contents for you and support criminal prosecution in case of hacker attacks. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, etc.) is collected by this website, this is done with your voluntary agreement and knowledge.

The personal data will be collected and processed by us in accordance with the provisions of the Telemedia Act (TMG), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). You can revoke this at any time.

Usage and Disclosure of Personal Data

In accordance with European and German data protection regulations, if you provide us with personal data, we will only use it to respond to your inquiries, to establish, process and terminate contracts concluded with you, for technical administration and possibly to promote our products and services provided that you have given your consent or if this is permitted by law.

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of fulfilling the contract – i.e. the transfer of an order or order data for the integration of service provid-ers and/or suppliers, etc. – or if this is necessary for billing purposes or you have given your prior consent. You also have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority at any time. If you believe that your personal data is not processed in compliance with data protection laws, we kindly ask you to contact our data protection officer.

Furthermore, under art. 13 par. 2 b) GDPR you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time.

Webinar

To conduct the webinars offered on our website, we use software from our service provider Cisco WebEx Inc. Your personal data provided via our contact form to register for events will be used exclusively to conduct our webinars and will not be forwarded to external third parties.  

Contact Form 

All your personal data and other information that you provide to us via the contact form on our website will only be collected and processed for the purpose of processing and answering your inquiries on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 subpar. 1 a) and b) GDPR. Your data will be forwarded to us by e-mail via our provider. If no data is pro-vided, it is unfortunately not possible for us to contact you and process your inquiry. There is no automated decision-making process.

The personal data provided by you is not transmitted to a third country or an international organization and this is not planned. Your personal data will not be transferred to external third parties. 

You have the right (art. 13 par. 2 c) GDPR) to revoke your consent at any time, and your decision will remain in effect in the future. The legality of data processed until the revocation remains unaffected.

Your personal data, which you communicate to us via the contact form, will be stored by us for the duration of the processing of your inquiry and will be deleted or blocked immediately after processing.

Protection of Saved Data

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data you provide against ma-nipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our safety measures are continually improved and modified as technology advances. It cannot be ruled out that unencrypted data transmitted by you may be viewed by third parties during transmission. We would like to point out that no end-to-end secure transmission can be guaranteed with regard to data transmission via the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail). Sensitive data should therefore not be transmitted at all or only via a secure connection (SSL) over the Internet.

Protection of Minors

Only adults can consent to the processing of personal data. For information society services, a child may con-sent starting at the age of sixteen in accordance with art. 8 of the GDPR.

Saving Anonymous Data/Cookies

Tracking cookies are used on this website. Cookies are text files that are saved on your computer and enable us to analyze how you use the website. However, they only collect and save data pseudonymously. The data is not used to personally identify you and is not merged with data about the pseudonymous person. We use this information to determine the appeal of our website and continually improve its content.

Technically Necessary Cookies (Session Cookies)

Use of DoubleClick

Our website uses the Google DoubleClick service (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The purpose is for DoubleClick by Google to save cookies to your computer so that adver-tisements tailored to your preferences can be displayed. To this end, your browser receives a pseudonymous identification number (ID). The system checks which of the advertisements could be displayed in your browser and which of them were called up. The information generated by cookies is then transmitted via Google to a server in the USA for analysis and then stored there.

Our website uses Google Maps API (application programming interface) to display geographical information (maps). Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. It enables us to make it easier for you to find us or for us to point to specific locations. In this respect, our legitimate interest pursuant to art. 6 par. 1 subpar. 1 f) DSGVO is to provide you with a user-friendly website.

By using Google Maps, you consent to Google, its agents and third parties’ automatic collection, processing and use of data that are entered by you or collected while using Google Maps. 

Google must therefore also be named as a recipient of this data. When Google Maps is used, information about the use of our website, including your IP address, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The transfer of data to the USA is associated with data protection risks. If you do not wish for the data to be transmitted, it is possible to deactivate the Google Maps service and prevent the data transfer to Google. You must deactivate JavaScript in your browser to do this. However, we would like to note that, in this case, you will not be able to use the map display.

Using Google Tag Manager

Our website uses Google Tag Manager. This enables us to manage website tags via an interface. Google Tag Manager is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that might also collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If it has been deactivated at the domain or cookie level, it will persist for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Our website uses Marketo, a web analytics and marketing tool from Marketo Solutions, Ltd in London, UK (hereinafter referred to as: Marketo).

When visiting our Facebook fan page, Facebook collects and processes personal data on the basis of legiti-mate interest pursuant to art. 6 par. 1 f) GDPR.
